Recently, Zhengzhou Lijia Thermal Spraying Machinery Co., Ltd. completed the assembly, load testing and factory acceptance of a custom roller bracket horizontal rotary table, and successfully delivered the equipment to the customer for thermal spraying processing of rolls, long shafts and other elongated workpieces. This custom machine is independently developed, with an extended base and multi-bracket structure fully tailored to the customer’s spraying requirements for long cylindrical parts.
The customer specializes in processing large cylindrical workpieces including paper rolls, metallurgical rolls and long pipes. Their original spraying fixture only provided single-point support, causing eccentric shaking during rotation and inconsistent coating thickness. Moreover, only one workpiece could be processed at a time, severely limiting mass production efficiency. Based on the customer’s workpiece dimensions, load-bearing requirements and workshop layout, our technical team designed this horizontal rotary table with an extended base and multiple roller brackets to resolve unstable support and inflexible station adjustment issues for long workpieces.
The machine adopts an integrated thickened steel base equipped with heavy-duty moving casters, enabling flexible relocation within the workshop without fixed foundation installation. The rigid base resists deformation even under full heavy load. A full-length sliding guide rail is mounted on the base, allowing all roller brackets to slide freely for flexible spacing adjustment according to workpiece length. Each bracket is fitted with dual pressure-bearing support rollers to distribute the weight of long workpieces evenly and prevent sagging. A handwheel height adjuster is installed on every bracket to quickly modify supporting height for rolls of varying diameters. A fully enclosed variable-frequency driving head is mounted at one end of the equipment; its dustproof housing protects internal transmission components from thermal spraying metal dust. The driving rollers drive the workpiece to rotate at stepless, stable speeds with zero shaking, ensuring uniform coating coverage across the entire surface of long parts and eliminating uneven coating at both ends to improve finished product yield. The whole machine is treated with anti-corrosion coating, compatible with plasma, HVOF, arc spraying and other high-temperature, high-dust working conditions. Its multi-station layout allows staggered loading and spraying to significantly boost workshop productivity.
We followed a full standardized custom delivery process for this project. In the early stage, we collected workpiece parameters, surveyed the workshop site and provided a dedicated layout solution. During production, we maintained strict quality control over welding, machining and assembly. Before shipment, long-duration full-load operation tests were carried out to verify load capacity, rotation coaxiality and speed stability. After delivery to the customer’s facility, our technicians conducted on-site positioning, bracket calibration, as well as operation and daily maintenance training. The trial spraying results fully met the customer’s process standards, leading to one-time acceptance.
